I’m a child like you!
A curious traveller accompanies us along a tour that starts in Europe with the explosion of flamenco dance. We continue through the drama of French song. Later, we see the passion of an Argentine tango followed by the innocence of a Brazilian folk song. The rhythm of funk transports us to the streets of New York. Then we take a trip to the East, passing through harmonies by Maori natives and returning to the elements. Asia makes an appearance, fun and playful. We arrive in Africa, where rhythm is in its purest state.
With direct participation from the audience, we return home to say goodbye with a final song.
Tapgea is a journey that brings children closer to the five continents and some of the countries in them. Offering a global and unifying view of the world through rhythm and music. It conveys the values of equality and non-discrimination between cultures. It awakens spontaneity and improvisation by asking children for their direct collaboration during the show.
